Few days ago I found this picture that was taken the first time I visited the Empire St Building in NY. The picture is looking the south view -- the Brooklyn bridge, Statue of Liberty and the Twin Towers-- back in 1992.
Who would had imagined that 11 years later I would be leading the marketing & sales department for the building and that my office was just 6 floors below. Sadly, the towers were gone and is so painful to see the hole.
Certainly, I would had never imagined so, but life it is the way it is and so is NY. I would had bever imagined it but this is the beauty of not giving up your dreams and fight for them nevertheless sometimes is painful and requires a lot of sacrify. I try to remember what were my thoughs that particular day...I think it was something like "how great¡¡I am here in NY and I just got one of the brightest ,beautiful and sunnier days as the chaperons told me. So it was a crispy, sunny and beautiful day back in October 92 a young 20 old years lady and the world in front of her.
